Strengthening its commitment to sustainability and environmental transparency, Acquabella announces the availability of a FDES (Environmental and Health Product Declaration), verified by an independent body and registered in the INIES database, for its Akron® shower trays*.

A European benchmark in the design and manufacture of high-quality bathroom solutions, Acquabella takes a further step forward in environmental documentation. The FDES for its Akron® shower trays, made from the brand’s exclusive material, provides transparent and traceable environmental and health data covering the entire life cycle of the product.

This Environmental and Health Product Declaration offers construction and specification professionals objective information on environmental impact, traceability and health safety, in compliance with the requirements of the French regulatory framework. The FDES has been verified in accordance with the NF EN 15804+A2/CN standard, the European and French reference for life cycle assessment of construction products.

Transparency and reliability for specification projects

Akron® shower trays, recognised for their design, strength and technical quality, now feature a verified and registered FDES, facilitating their integration into projects that require compliant and officially recognised environmental documentation in France.

This initiative represents a key differentiating factor for one of Acquabella’s flagship products, particularly in architecture, construction and renovation projects, where the availability of reliable environmental data is becoming a decisive criterion.

By providing verified, traceable information in line with regulatory requirements, Acquabella strengthens its position as a trusted partner for architects, specifiers, distributors and developers.

A step forward aligned with Acquabella’s sustainability strategy

The verified FDES registered in INIES for Akron® shower trays forms part of Acquabella’s broader strategy of continuous improvement. It complements other management systems and recognitions held by the company, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 certifications and the EcoVadis Bronze Medal 2025.

This initiative reflects Acquabella’s commitment to anticipating market expectations and supporting the sector’s transition towards more responsible solutions, without compromising on design, quality or user comfort.

*Please consult the scope of application of the products in sections 1.6 and 2.1 of the FDES.
