Acquabella has been honoured as the best Spanish company in its category at the European Business Awards 2019.
Among the 2,753 companies included as “Ones to Watch”, Acquabella was selected as the National Winner by a panel of independent judges comprising business people, politicians and academics. As a result, it has won the award for best Spanish company in its category and will now represent Spain in the final stage of the competition.
For more than a decade, the main goal of the European Business Awards has been to support the development of a stronger and more successful business community across Europe. This year, more than 120,000 companies from 33 countries were considered. This is why these are among the most prestigious awards that a company can receive, making it one of the most important transnational competitions in the world.
The team at Acquabella will travel to Warsaw, Poland, on the 3rd and 4th of December to attend the judges’ final vote. There the team will attend a conference addressing business issues, as well as the Gala Ceremony during which the winners of the European Business Awards general category will be announced.
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards, highlights: “This is a very significant achievement and Acquabella is an exceptional leader in its field. To be selected as a National Winner means that it shows great innovation, ethics and success, and is one of the best companies in Europe. We wish Acquabella the best of luck in the final round.”
Acquabella has shown continuous improvement through innovation since its beginning. So much so that it has been recently identified as an INNOVATIVE SME by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities thanks to its proven track record in recent years.
“The team at Acquabella is very proud to see its work recognised as a benchmark in innovation within the European business community. We are looking forward to going to Warsaw to represent Spain in the final of the European Business Awards competition and advocate our track record and business values in front of the best companies in Europe” states Juan José Benavent, the firm’s CEO.
